ICLCA 2025: New Frontiers for Student Success

Registration for the International College Learning Center Association's 40th annual conference is open, with early-bird pricing through August 31, 2025. LCLCA is a state affiliate of ICLCA.


You can submit a session proposal through April 30 for six different types of sessions.

Tackling Tough Conversations: How to Guide Students After Midterms

Many students find themselves in challenging situations following midterms but often have trouble navigating the questions they need to realistically answer. Can they improve their grade in their course? Can they even pass a course they are failing? What strategies can they do to succeed in their remaining grade opportunities? As learning center professionals, it is our responsibility to coach students to the goal line of the semester, even when that means having difficult conversations.

ICLCA* is hosting their annual conference September 23-27, 2024. The conference will be held at Little America Hotel in downtown Salt Lake City, Utah.


Pre-conference sessions begin on September 23, concurrent sessions will be held September 24-26, and the Post-Conference Institute is scheduled for September 26 and 27. Those interested in attending can register on the ICLCA website.
