Trevor Tabor is a distinguished alumni of Nicholls State University with a bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication and Public Relations. Due to his outstanding work with research in enrollment communication, academic excellence, and student leadership, Trevor was recognized as Hall of Fame graduate in 2023. His passion for higher education began through leadership roles in student affairs and student engagement, where he helped build student leaders, coordinated large-scale campus events, and developed marketing strategies to elevate the student experience.

Trevor is currently the Assistant Director for Communication for the Division of Enrollment Management and Student Success at LSU. In this role, Trevor manages communications and marketing for all EMSS departments including the Center for Academic Success, University College, Financial Aid, Transition and Orientation Programs, and the University Registrar and Bursar's offices. He leverages multiple tools and platforms to spearhead campus-wide communication strategies supporting retention, academic progress, and engagement-focused initiatives.

Beyond higher education, Trevor partners with clients across multiple industries to develop brand strategies, communication materials, and events that drive engagement and impact. He has chaired university-wide committees, led cross-functional initiatives, and contributed to strategic priorities that put student success at the forefront. Trevor will begin a master’s program in the fall and looks forward to continuing to grow into leadership roles focused on communication, student experience, and institutional strategy.

Nicole Walker has a history in Speech Language Pathology and Psychology with an undergraduate degree from the University of South Alabama in Mobile and graduate degree from LSU. She worked as an SLP for 4.5 years before moving into higher education as a Learning Specialist at the LSU Center for Academic Success in March of 2023. While always having an interest in service, she has found a passion in helping college students develop metacognitive skills, build academic confidence, and find new strategies. She has served and lead multiple committees, projects, and events throughout her professional career, and she currently serves as a coordinator of the LSU Promise Scholars Program. Nicole is now pursuing a PhD in Higher Education Administration from LSU.
